The Chi-Town Players is a power trio band playing Rockin’ Soul Music rooted in American Funk, Rock, Blues and Soul musical styles. Sliding from one genre to the next, The Chi-Town Players creates dynamic and long sets; with an emphasis on entertainment as well as musicianship.

Introducing a great new trio act on the market called… THE BLUEBERRY MOON BOYS with a line up of talented artists from Joe Wrigley credited with jumping jacks, Steve Sutcliffe a talented singer guitarist fiddle player and legendary one man club performer Richard Pearl, who has decades of experience in Las Vegas Showrooms and cruise ships.

They are hitting audiences with old-time jazz-swing, show tunes and some fantastic country numbers. The star of the show is Rich, but each of them are great entertainers in there own right.

Max-Solo

Max Jones from the Legendary 99-99 Arts Group

The show screening rare archival street videography of images of downtown NYC in the 1980″s, accompanied by looped guitar arrangements of cover and original songs.

Max Jones spent many years in NYC and was part of the scene there in the 1980’s and hung out with many luminaries from the downtown scene from the beat era, the punk rock scene and the film and art world.

He won over 10 awards internationally for his experimental “street videography”

He has played shows all over the planet including at the legendary CBGB’s and has done shows with Screaming Jay Hawkins, Robin Hitchcock and the Egyptians, and Jeff Buckley. Currently working on a number of auto stereoscopic imaging projects. 

An international tour is in the works for 2016 as well as a book about the art scene in Phnom Penh.

The 99-99 arts group is an arts collective that does mixture between a multi-media art show consisting of video and lenticular photography combined with a honkey tonk rock band.

Their music is influenced by punk rock, bad karaoke, Leonard Cohen, Gothic Rock, Hank Williams, Pere Ubu, The Cure, John Lee Hooker, The Doors and Television.

The film show is influenced by numerous artists including Diane Arbus, Robert Frank, Thomas Kinkaid and the classic motion picture “Freaks”. Critics have called their music “Gothic Lounge Music”

Since 2014 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The Barangutans

The Barangutans is a 4 piece group, based in Sihanoukville.

We are a multinational group with members from Philippines, Estonia and Denmark. We have a big variety of songs in our song list that covers everything from laid back regga, groovy rap, up tempo rock, high dynamic latin grooves to classic pop hits from the last decades.

Our setup is a quite unusual setup, but it improves the dynamic and the intimate experience for our audience.

The group was formed June as a duo, and soon afterward it turned into a trio and then again we added a 4th member.

Melanie Raitt
Melanie Started singing around Melbourne’s local rock dances when she was 15 and by the age of 18 she’d moved into the world of swing with a big band and a year later into jazz and blues in a night club. After 2 years in England she returned to Melbourne and joined a rock/blues touring band and was on the road for several years.

She has worked in almost every genre including country and musical theater, performing solo, duo, trio and in bands large and small in pubs, clubs, at concerts and regular TV appearances. Mel now calls Cambodia home and travels to Australia regularly to visit family.

Alan Breen
Jazz saxophone and flute specialist Alan Breen began his musical journey 40 years ago leading his own bands in the hotels, pubs and wine bars of Leeds ,West Yorkshire. Later working in circuses, UK theater orchestras, followed by Caribbean and Mediterranean Cruise ships in addition to a world trip on CTC Cruise Line IE Carnival Cruises, Cunard Line, Norwegian Caribbean, Royal Caribbean, Commodore Cruises, Chandris Line, Ulysses-Parquet. He was musical director on The Cunard Countess in 1984, as well as appearing in the annual Penang Island and Georgetown Heritage festivals.

After settling in Asia in 1986 he became in demand in the hotels, resorts and jazz clubs of Taiwan, Malaysia – China House ,The E and O, Rasa Sayang, Equatorial, G Hotel, Hard Rock, Traders hotels and now Cambodia -Raffles, Intercontinental, Sofitel, Sokha, Prince of Angkor, Heritage Suites, The Exchange, FCC Angkor and Phnom Penh), Sharky’s Bar, Slur Bar, Le Jardin.

James Cecil
A Toronto-born singer-songwriter living on the West coast of British Columbia. He is a vocalist, keyboards and harmonica player with a passion for Roots & Blues.

James is delighted to bring his musical talents to international stages in South East Asia, and on the West Coast of Canada and the World.

James Cecil has performed his music on countless stages on three continents, in recordings both digital and traditional analogue, and accompanying some of the greatest blues and rock musicians of this era.

He has shared stages and recorded with thousands of musicians around the world. James has opened for such legends as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Greg Allman, Pinetop Perkins, Savoy Brown, Steppenwolf, and Atlanta Rhythm Section, Nitty Gritty Dirty Band, and many others.

His style of blue harp is the essence of pure blues. On the keyboards versatility is James Cecil’s signature. His eclectic styles range from improvisational jazz, classical blues, rock and experimental.

Swackhammer Band – Live music from Nha Trang Vietnam

The Swackhammer Band is a popular show / club band based in Nha Trang Vietnam. Comprised of musicians from different countries and of differing styles, the band plays a wide and unique range of originals and popular covers spanning more than 60 years of music history. Experienced performing in venues of all sizes in acoustic and full band formats, the band and its members have played numerous festivals, 4/5 star venues, corporate events, clubs and pubs throughout Asia as well as their own countries. Led by Canadian musician / songwriter Erick Swackhammer, the band features the guitar playing of Tran Minh Duc and the voice of Tuong Vy. A truly international act dedicated to great music and good times for all.
